the eclectic life

My photo
libellula
Living is about experiences. My dramatic life cycles seem to come in 20-year increments. So after experiencing 20 years in the South and 20 years in the North, fate has taken me over to Southeast Asia. Born Buddhist, raised Baptist, and blasted with the culture shock of the Big Apple, my religious, political and life views have evolved into an amalgamation of various doctrines to what can only be labeled as 'my own'. The next chapter will take me to the Eastern cultures, and with the blend of my Western upbringing, it will be apropos to what I call 'my eclectic life' of random experiences. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Libellule symbolizes transformation (water) and adaptation (air) with its quickness, agility and invincibility. Dragonflies represent spectrums of color in their transparent wings and vision, reminding us to look beyond self-imposed limits and illusions and see the beauty of the moment, each individual, and every interaction.
